They offered a quick solution for a different hostel (directed us to Viva Nord hostel about 10 km away because the room wasn’t ready). The room that was ready looked very unfinished: spider webs hung from the ceiling, the linens were slightly crinkled, and there was a thick layer of dust on top of the fridge. The air felt stale, as if it was about to go bad, even though there were no direct ventilation problems.

The private belongings of the guests at Binada Etrafta were dirty, messy, and disgusting. Among the other guests I couldn’t tell if they were using drugs or something, they were noisy and the staff were verbally abusive. While staying in the room, my wife and children couldn’t sleep all night because of the security fear. It’s unclear who comes in and out, and you can’t find any staff.

There was no proper reception; we had to arrange a late check‑in over the phone, and the key was then stuck. The location was very poor with bad public transport connections. The accommodation was in the middle of the forest. The wallpaper was already peeling, the bathroom ventilation was broken, so there was a strong mold smell. Everything felt a bit rundown, and there were suspicious people roaming the house. You don’t feel comfortable, and items were scattered everywhere.
