The balcony gave us a wonderful view over the terraces, which we could enjoy every morning. The staff were genuinely sweet and seemed ready to lend a hand whenever we needed something.

The spot is convenient, but the room left a lot to be desired – it wasn’t clean and the shower kept acting up. Add to that the fact there’s no lift, so getting up to the higher floors was a hassle.

This place has a lot of charm and the staff were unbelievably nice, even inviting us for tea each afternoon to sample different blends. It’s just five minutes from Zhangjiajie park and right on the night‑market street, yet the room stayed quiet and the bed was super comfy with nice toiletries. The only downside was being on the fourth floor with no elevator, and the building showed a bit of rust around the edges.

Staff were really helpful, always offering tea when we had questions despite the language barrier, and the attached balcony added a nice touch to the nicely decorated room. Unfortunately, the bathroom layout is cramped – the shower shares space with the toilet, temperature control is a nightmare and the water pressure is low.

The team was friendly and eager to help, and the location is spot‑on for getting to the national park. However, the standard double room was far from spotless – there was mold in the bathroom, insects showed up, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The price is reasonable for what you get, but the mold made the stay feel a bit uncomfortable.
