Situated in Kamyanets‑Podilskyi’s historic center, the 7 Days Hotel offers stylish rooms with air conditioning, flat‑screen TVs, and balconies overlooking the city. Guests enjoy a fitness centre, pool, Finnish sauna, and Turkish steam bath. Two restaurants serve Ukrainian, European, Japanese, and Thai dishes, while a sun terrace and lounge with hookah provide relaxation. The Old Fortress, Dominican Monastery, and St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral lie within a 15‑minute walk.

We booked two weeks in advance and asked for a high‑floor room with a view of the old town and a reserved parking spot. The hotel said the spot was reserved, but the room ended up on the 10th floor without the view, and the parking wasn’t reserved. After showing the hotel’s reply to the administrator, the security guard found us a temporary spot for one night, and the next day moved the car to a permanent spot.

Everything was great: the location in the city centre (not the old town), the room, service, friendly staff, and cleanliness. The restaurant’s food was tasty – we dined there twice – and we didn’t buy breakfast but could smell it from the lobby. It was nice that after checkout we could leave our luggage in the storage room for free and wander the city, and the staff picked it up when we were ready to head to the station. No negatives.

The staff were friendly and the balcony view was spectacular, making it a budget option in the city centre. However, the windows face the main street, so it’s noisy at night. The room is small and stuffy in summer, and the bathroom had a foul smell of clogged drains.

The location was perfect – we could walk everywhere, through lovely parks to the old town and the fortress. The staff were wonderful and quickly brought an extra pillow and blanket when we asked. The hotel wasn’t prepared for power cuts; there were no lanterns, so we had to use our phones to get to the breakfast restaurant. There was only one towel per person, which felt a bit tight – two would have been more convenient.
