Surrounded by countryside on one side, the hotel provides easy access to Weston-Super-Mare (7 miles), Cheddar Gorge (10.7 miles), and Burnham-on-Sea (4.9 miles), with Street Designer Shopping Outlet within a 40-minute drive.

We had a brilliant night’s stay; the room was lovely, quiet, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good quality and cooked perfectly.

The staff were friendly and kind, and although I arrived late and left early, the few interactions I had were good. The bed was comfy and the room had everything I needed. The sudden fees were a surprise, but I should have read more before booking. The worst part was how paper‑thin the walls were; I could hear conversations in the next room and someone was either practicing Morris dancing in steel boots or playing tennis with an elephant, the thumping and banging loud enough to wake the dead. It went on all night, with doors banging and people clearly coming and going wearing concrete slippers. I got no sleep. Not to mention the windows let in no sound, so someone outside shouted up to the room and I could hear every word and breath.

The room was spacious with good lighting and offered the best value for money on a motorway trip, but it had no refrigerator.
