The boat sits in a great spot, was clean and comfortable on board, and the hosts were very accommodating. However, the area where the boat is moored is quite loud, with a busy road and train track nearby, and the mooring itself is noisy because the ropes squeak against the hull. I love sleeping on a boat, but this one made it hard to get a full night’s sleep. The worst part for me was the toilet/shower block in the marina: every shower was broken, it wasn’t clean, the floor was constantly wet, and it smelled damp because there was no ventilation. I understand this shared facility is beyond the hosts’ control, but it still made the stay uncomfortable.

We received a warm welcome. The marina staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location is ideal for exploring the area and seeing the sights. Sleeping on a sailboat was a wonderful and unique experience!

The location in Lisbon near the Torre de Belem is great. The boat itself is very nice and well equipped. The landlord was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Staying on a boat was a fantastic experience. It was very well maintained and super clean. I don’t plan to stay on a boat all the time, but it was nice to try it once. What I really missed was a cooler; and the boat was naturally small. When you needed something from your suitcase, only one person could open it at a time. The boat swayed a lot at night, so you had to get used to it. I didn’t sleep well the first night, but after that it was okay. It was an experience I don’t want to miss. After three nights I was glad to have solid ground again. It’s not recommended for people with physical limitations, because you have to climb over the railing to get on. For what it had, I also found the price a bit too high.

It will be an experience, nothing more. The bath was the worst, and the location isn’t great either. Everything is far away; you have to cross a footbridge or an underground passage to get anywhere. You can’t book for less than three days.

Everything was perfect 👌 These aren’t downsides — they’re just features of the experience. For example, someone in your group might get a bit seasick, or the fact that the shower and toilet aren’t on the boat itself and you need to walk about 50 meters. If you look at these little nuances objectively, you’ll end up having a wonderful, romantic getaway.
