“A relaxing and value for money night.”
The view from our room and the venue was great, and there was nothing to complain about.

The room was well set up and the place was very quiet. We knew we had to leave the room at 9:00 and our stuff was ready, but it was unpleasant when the lady knocked on the door to remind us. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and given the local temperature, a warmer blanket would be wise.

It was a calm and serene spot, with a lovely view of grass and trees. There was nothing I didn’t like.

The room was bright and airy, full of birdlife in the trees, and the pub served great meals.

The gentleman who checked us in was lovely—polite, welcoming, and very understanding of our service dog, which we appreciated and that gave a good first impression. However, we recently stayed here and were very disappointed. The rooms were dated, mouldy, and covered in cobwebs, which seemed to be part of the décor. The walls were paper-thin, and on our second night we could clearly hear the guests next door stomping and arguing, even vomiting from their balcony. The accommodation was nothing like the newer cabins advertised on the website, making the stay even more disappointing. When checking out, I handed in the keys and had a very awkward interaction with the publican; there was no friendly conversation or even a simple question about how our stay had been—just complete silence. A little hospitality and interest in guest feedback would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, our recent stay did not meet expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.
