The owners take pride in their beautiful, quiet farmhouse that has been in the family for generations, from what I understood! Our room was very cozy and comfortable! They even picked us up in Altopascio, which we were very grateful for!. It is not on the main Via Francigena trail. The owners did say they were very close to the water varient, but I couldn't find that on the official Via Francigena and didn't feel comfortable taking it. But if you want a quiet retreat, this was beautiful!
