Everything was fine, but I don’t think it’s good value for South Africans since it seems aimed at the international market. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the lodge overall needs an upgrade—it’s very outdated. The staff were amazing, the lodge was okay.

Overall, my stay was okay, with a good location being one of the highlights. The breakfast was decent but got repetitive, and the dinner was a bit pricey and late, only offered as a buffet. I also had some issues with the room, which was small and had a somewhat cramped bathroom. While the prices were reasonable, especially with our discount, I felt that some aspects, like the pool and safari prices, were overpriced and not entirely up to par.

I had a wonderful stay, enjoying the delicious breakfast and the high-quality room with a big screen TV. The bathroom was also a highlight, with the option to choose between a shower and a massage bath. However, I did think that the pool was a bit too deep for young kids and even some adults, including myself. It would be great if they could create a separate pool for kids that's not so deep.

I was impressed by the friendly and hands-on approach of the staff and management, which really made our stay special. However, I wasn't entirely blown away by the overall experience, which was still first-class but didn't exceed my expectations in every way.
