The hotel is in the city centre and everything we needed was a short walk away, but a huge construction site right outside kept the noise level high.

The front desk staff were very responsible, yet for some reason the room number never got confirmed and after almost two hours I still couldn’t check in. I couldn’t get a response on the phone or via text.

They offered a washer/dryer and let you drop off luggage at a nearby office after checkout. The spot isn’t close to Kennedy Park or the boardwalk and there aren’t many restaurants nearby. A long contract with exclusions that only become apparent after booking, a three‑night stay didn’t bring enough bar soap – apparently they only supply it for the first night and you have to bring your own. The host sent more soap after I complained, which was a small but helpful gesture.
