The house is right on the lake. The room was clean and looked very new. Free parking is available in front of the house. From the front side of the house, there is a very nice view of the lake. The room and the fridge are small. The outdoor area is a single seating spot framed by wooden lattice. We had no view into the garden. The entrance to the room is behind the house and leads through a play porch by father and son. Dishware and cutlery were provided. The washing was only suitable for the bathtub. In return, there was a basin and detergent. The landlords were never seen, even though they were in the house (a greeting or farewell would have been appropriate), but we stayed four nights in the room.

The place was great with fantastic hosts, just a two‑minute walk to the town centre, but the sign was hard to spot from the road and I had to pass it twice to see it; the TV reception was only average.

The room was beautifully presented, spotless, and the bathroom was awesome; it’s within walking distance of the main shopping area and I loved the overall vibe. The only downside was that, as a B&B, I expected more than just porridge sachets for breakfast, and it was a bit annoying to hear the owners next door chatting and to hear the toilet in the room above us being flushed.
The location was a bit out of town.
