A cute kitten wandered into the room asking for affection, which I liked. The shower was awful, water dripped slowly, and a rat was scratching the ceiling. In my friends’ room the air‑conditioner didn’t work, so they had to be moved to another lodge.

The location was great and everything on site was very organized. The shower produced little water, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The pousada’s service is phenomenal: from the start they were very helpful answering my WhatsApp questions, they welcomed me warmly, the staff makes a divine coffee, they were kind in helping with phone calls for tours, transfers, etc.; the location is great, the facilities are excellent, the bed is comfortable, the TV is good (though I didn’t use it because Caraíva is a paradise that doesn’t need TV), the bathroom has warm water, and it’s close to all the village events, the center, the beach, the river. I felt very safe in Caraíva and thought the pousada was a great choice for my first solo trip; when I return to Bahia I’ll stay here again. I have no complaints; as a suggestion, starting coffee at 7 instead of 8 would help those who want to leave earlier for the beach, but otherwise everything is perfect.

“Boa , limpeza diária e café da manhã bom”

The breakfast was good, but the bedding could have been more airy; it smelled like it had been stored, and we also had a rainy day.
