The room was small, but that was fine since I was traveling alone. The heating/cooling system was unreliable and it felt cold. The bed was okay, and the bathroom was also small. There were some problems with the elevator as well. We visited the bar a couple of times and had a good time; the service and cocktails were good. I had asked for the heating system to be fixed, but that request was not resolved.

The location, cleanliness, and customer service were all excellent. We stayed in room 308. The only downside was that breakfast isn’t offered at the restaurant or bar.

The lobby is beautiful and comfortable. The Grier tasting room and Secreto bar are wonderful. Every single employee we met was professional, polite, welcoming, and efficient. The only negatives were that our room was way in the back and the carpet needs to be replaced, and that our room had no mirror in the main area—only in the bathroom—making it hard for both of us to dress at the same time.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the service was exceptional. The only drawback was that the room was a bit small.

The architecture’s austerity, with its historical overtones, uses stone and wood—especially wood—to transport you to the eternal past. The location is great, and valet parking is included and very commodious. The bed was great. The staff were uneven: generally helpful, but the late‑night shift was less empathetic. I had a non‑life‑threatening medical issue, and the location isn’t ideal for securing even basic over‑the‑counter remedies; the hotel could benefit from a small shop. Breakfast pastries were generic, and the lack of a breakfast restaurant was noticeable, though nearby options were superb.
