“Excellent place to stay, would book again for next visit”
Beautiful, quiet, convenient location. Great base for our trip. The hot tub is delightful for evening soaks. Self‑catering facilities are good.

The luxury glamping pod’s location and setting are stunning. The owners Blair & Nikki added touches on arrival: a bottle of chilled water, biscuits, fresh eggs. It’s very private and quiet on a farm with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The hot tub is great for stargazing! It’s very close to wildlife trails, lakes, and beaches. The lovely pub and restaurant in the nearby village, Helston, Truro, and Falmouth are all very close, as is the Lizard area. The weather was fantastic!

We stayed at Stargaze Lodge for 4 nights (2 guests) and left feeling quite disappointed. The lodge has potential, but the lack of preparation and inaccurate listing info really impacted our trip. Stingy amenities: only 1 toilet roll for a 4‑night stay for 2 people. Because the lodge is remote, you absolutely need a car to buy basic extras. There were zero basic bathroom amenities. Zero storage space: no shelves, no cupboards, not even a bathroom shelf. With two people’s bags, the space felt crowded quickly. Hot tub & coffee machine issues: the hot tub was left at a lower temperature than described, making it chilly. The owners later said a previous guest must have changed it, but the controls are behind a panel, so guests can’t fix it easily. The coffee pod machine needed descaling and didn’t work at all. We tried to fix it manually but gave up; luckily we brought our own grounds to brew. Both problems should have been caught by cleaners/owners before check‑in. Non‑existent Wi‑Fi: the Wi‑Fi was extremely patchy to the point where even basic emails wouldn’t load, so we used mobile data most of the trip. The owners offered a workaround by giving a mobile phone to use as a hotspot, but by then we were already out on day trips. Fluctuating temperatures & minor mould: the lodge’s climate control is hard to manage. It was freezing when we arrived, but on warmer days it heats up fast and gets stuffy. We also saw some minor mould starting in the bathroom—tiny for now, but it needs addressing.

The place sits in a great spot with a nice view when the weather’s clear, and the rooms are roomy. We were let down by the hot tub – the bubbles didn’t pop, the clips on the tub were broken so it wobbled a lot in the wet, windy weather, and the little round lights around it were dead. One of the main doors didn’t lock with the bolt, so drafts blew in. Getting the heating, microwave, and oven to work was a hassle because there were no instructions.

The location in the middle of nature is fantastic, the furnishings are high‑quality, and the small space is used very well. The beds are comfortable, there are several outdoor seating spots, the host replies quickly and is helpful, and the whirlpool was definitely a highlight. The only thing we missed was a storage spot in the bathroom.
