The view was exceptional, the food was amazing, and walking through the orchards felt like a dream; the staff were well‑behaved and helpful, arranging a proper cab from Kathgodam and even setting up side viewing; the Gramin food products were excellent and the healthy plums were available; I spent a great weekend in the garden, near Shiv Mandir, enjoying the cool breeze and mountain view, but the cleanliness still needs work.

The ambience and view were lovely, the homely meals delicious, and the staff friendly; the rooms were spacious with plenty of outdoor seating for a staycation with splendid views, but getting to the property from the parking requires a short downhill walk that can be tough for the elderly and should be noted.

This homestay feels like a home away from home; I’m very impressed by how clean it is and by the personalized service from Tara Bhai; the highlights are the mesmerizing view, great hospitality, and amazing Pahadi food (pahadi raita, thatvani, Bhatt ke dupke), plus the excellent attention given to kids’ entertainment.
