Pet‑friendly accommodations feature free WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, streaming services, work desk, dining area, and outdoor furniture. Located 4.8 km from Artis Zoo, 22 km from Schiphol, it is near the Royal Theater Carré, Van Gogh Museum, and an ice‑skating rink.

The location was lovely, just a short tram or Uber ride to the city centre. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfortable. Netflix was available to keep us entertained in the evenings. Coffee and tea were on hand. The shower and bathroom had plenty of hot water. A restaurant with good food was nearby at a campsite, about 200–300 metres away. The bare wooden walkway to the entrance was very slippery when wet and had no guard rail on the water side. There was a rail along the side of the boat, without which I might have fallen into the water a couple of times. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the elderly or infirm.

The pictures were spot on – the place looked exactly like that! The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and sitting areas were great. One of the days it was wet, cold, and windy, and we were happy to stay inside and watch the weather. Bob was very responsive and friendly. Tram 26 was a short walk away and took us straight to Amsterdam central station in 10 minutes. It was lovely to be in such a quiet, secluded spot overlooking the water while still being so accessible. The only note is that, because this is a houseboat, there are some stairs to get down to the access that are a little steep if you have mobility issues.

The location and the atypical vibe were great. Nothing to complain about.

The houseboat part is generous and beautiful, well‑situated, and the city center is quickly reachable.
