This place was amazing - the location is right on the river, and the views are stunning. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and they really know their stuff when it comes to the local area. I did the orangutan tour with them in Gunung Leuser National Park, and it was incredible - well-organized, safe, and really informative. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious too, with loads of great local options. I'd definitely stay here again.

The owner of this place is really lovely, and the hospitality is top-notch. The room was clean and comfy, and the food was delicious - great value for the price. Overall, I was really happy with my stay here.

Be careful with these guys - they charged me twice, and then took ages to sort it out. They promised to give me a refund, but it never came through. When I asked for help, they just washed their hands of it, even though I showed them all the correspondence. It's a total nightmare, so steer clear.

Unfortunately, my stay was a bit of a letdown - the pillows and mattress had a strong odor, and the sheets and pillowcases weren't changed. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for showers in the evening or morning.

Convenient location, but that's about it - the staff seemed pretty unavailable, and the overall cleanliness of the place was a bit of a concern. The bathroom didn't have a sink, and WiFi was only available in the restaurant. When I arrived, the first question from the staff was whether I'd already booked a trek - it felt like they weren't really interested in me otherwise.
