The place is in a great spot and the decor is oddly cool, but there was no staff to help us. Our automatic lock jammed and we spent about 30 minutes trying to get in because it was so dark. Breakfast was just a sausage roll or something sweet from the bakery; we’d have liked eggs or at least a heads‑up that it was a bakery breakfast.

Amazing little gem. The room was amazing and very comfy. The lady we spoke to when booking was so nice and informative, giving clear and simple instructions to get to the room. Finding the room was magical; we had a hidden door and a mini landing with lots of bits to look through and explore. The bed was the comfiest ever, the bath was huge, and there was a gorgeous little courtyard with a bifold door into the room. Breakfast options were so much better than your standard fry‑up! All staff were so lovely. Everything was thought about, from spare batteries and an iron to help yourself to extra teabags. Nothing was missing; everything was perfect.
