The location and Rosemary with her team were excellent, and the view was amazing! The food was very good. We visited in August and it was cold. Despite the temperature, the food was served on the covered outdoor terrace. Accessibility was poorer because of the unpaved road.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful. The trek from the lodge to the nearby stunning waterfall was absolutely amazing, but only if you’re in relatively good shape. The lodge could have better fishing rods; if you want to do this, definitely bring your own.

The place offered a calm setting with beautiful surroundings and a scenic, tranquil escape, but the road to get there was quite tough, the room lacked TVs which felt odd in today’s age, and the limited menu left something to be desired.

The views were breathtaking, yet we left early because the staff failed to confirm that a guided walk would be available the following day and the guide was actually scheduled to arrive later; we also had no hot water for showers and, although the rooms were clean, everything felt a little untidy.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the view of the valley with its rural farms and tea plantations was lovely, but the morning traffic on the road outside was noisy with buses honking, the beds were just simple foam that needed replacement, and the rough road to the lodge was a hassle.
