Antonio was accommodating and genuine. The shared bathroom was dominated by the women who rented there; this was not the owner's fault.

The room was very comfortable, and the owner’s presence was much appreciated because he gave good advice on places to see. I recommend it for a 3‑day stay, but you’ll have to walk to the sights. The bathtub’s condition needs improvement.

The room’s décor was very traditional with original old furniture. Parking was great. The kitchen had too few cutlery pieces—only one fork for at least six people. The bathtub in the bathroom is painted several times over and looks dirty; there is no cabinet in the bathroom to store items. The fan in the room was very loud, making it impossible to sleep.

The room had a cute old‑fashioned look, was a good size, very clean, and had a balcony overlooking the square. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. The metro and tram stops, including the iconic Number 28, were nearby. We enjoyed having breakfast at the traditional neighbourhood cafés. The downside was that there was only one shower for six double rooms, so every morning there were queues. Bring ear plugs because of noisy neighbours and street traffic.

The owner was extremely helpful, parking was flawless, and the accommodation’s furnishings felt like living history—truly fascinating.
