Everything was perfect. The location is fantastic, breakfast is wonderful (the best!), and the owners are outstanding, incredibly lovely, and helpful. The drive to and from town is along a single road a little longer than we thought, but it’s lovely and serene, and once you get to Blarcreen you won’t want to leave—we certainly didn’t. All the little touches and conversations were greatly appreciated, and we can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful stone manor home on a working farm, cozy and pleasant. The hosts were kind and encouraged guests to get to know each other, and they cooked breakfast to order each morning. The distance from Oban on a one‑lane B road was a drawback.

Blarcreen is a beautiful house in the country near the shores of Loch Etive. Deidre and David were wonderful hosts and prepared fabulous breakfasts for us. Our room was lovely, very clean, and looked out over fields and sheep. We thoroughly recommend Blarcreen for a fabulous B&B experience. Everything at Blarcreen was perfect.

Spotlessly clean and in a lovely quiet location. The hosts were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was really delicious. Nothing—everything was great.
