“Вполне можно приехать на день-два, не более.”
The location is good, but it’s very noisy and the door insulation is poor.

Check‑in took a long time, there are no nearby eateries, and it’s inconvenient.

If I understood correctly, companies rent blocks and sell rooms here. One large building hosts many different resorts. It’s only a 5‑minute drive from the airport, so it’s convenient for layovers. The grounds are decent, the pool is clean, and there’s a cute bar by the water. Breakfast on the first floor is reasonable. Adults have a good selection, but children get limited options—no porridge and few separate veggies. Taxis, Grab, and delivery are allowed onto the property, but you have to pick up delivery at the gate. There are also a few cafés on site. Check‑in is strictly from 14:00. We waited three hours with a small child who fell asleep on the reception sofa, and they refused early check‑in. It’s strange that rooms are cleared at 12:00 and none seemed ready earlier, especially since early check‑in was advertised. We were told about the crowd later. I went to the desk at 13:53, and the lady said to wait another seven minutes 😁 okay. The room had two separate beds. They promised to call to swap them, but no one contacted us at reception. The phone didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it. The Bai Dai Resort team responded quickly to messages, offered to move the beds, but on‑site staff didn’t understand what we wanted. The first time they came, they just laid a large sheet, leaving a gap between the beds. The second time they brought two mattresses and spread them on one bed 😄 we almost gave up and managed ourselves. Cleaning was poor; mugs weren’t washed, and there was dust under the bed. The bathroom door opened inward, blocking the toilet passage. You had to squeeze into the shower first, close the door, and then reach the toilet. I also want to highlight the reception staff—after years of traveling in Asia, I’ve never seen such indifference. We wrote questions in Vietnamese via a translator, but they just turned away and left. We couldn’t get a buggy or confirm a transfer. I think the Bai Dai team should pay attention to this.

This was my first visit to Vietnam and my first stay at this resort. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend it to everyone. The sea view is stunning, and the property is huge—easy to walk or bike around. I rarely see a resort of this size. All four buildings look very nice; I stayed in the “light” building and the view of the walking street was amazing. At night, when the lights come on, it’s beautiful. The food was good for me and my family, and they also offer vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable, not too expensive even for a restaurant. You can book meals when you reserve your room. There are plenty of activities: spa, gym, kids’ area, archery, cycling—everything feels available. The swimming pool is large and clean, and it looks great at night with the lights. The staff are very kind and friendly. I’m not fluent in English, but they were patient and helped a lot. They even waited for me to type on my phone. The room is beautiful and clean, with a classic luxury design that feels special and different. I love the color.
