We stayed at the hotel mercure and the price was just about right for a driver’s stay. The reception staff need more training to serve guests properly! We paid through the app, but there was an additional charge because the weekend rates were different 😡😡. Parking was advertised as free in the app, but we had to pay.

The staff is available: they changed the sheets (dirty) at our request and “re‑cleaned” the room, but it was still very insufficient. The front desk gentleman came out at night to pick up a cockroach in his hand, but more appeared from the walls later. The location is bleak and dilapidated. Cockroaches lived in the wall, the fridge was sticky and dirty, the sheets were stained. In the bathroom, there was absolutely everywhere limescale, a dirty toilet bowl, open joint corners from which cockroaches emerged. In short, nothing like the photos… If it weren’t already late when we arrived, we would have chosen another hotel. Worst night of our stay in Indonesia.

Overall the stay was good, but the location feels a bit creepy.
