The Hotel Mäuerle is located on Lindau's historic city wall, near Ludwigsbastion. Comfortable double and triple rooms offer SKY, satellite TV, and WiFi. The hotel features an idyllic terrace, cozy garden, and proximity to the train station (400m) and Lindau roundabout (200m). All island sights are easily accessible on foot from this central, friendly hotel on Lake Constance.

The location was fine, but when we asked for the wifi password we got no reply, and the hotel had no staff or online support.

The setting was excellent, quiet and on a charming island, a solid choice for a short stay, and very clean. The old building made everything a bit cramped, especially the shower room, and the bike space was a little tight.

A well‑located hotel for a stay in Lindau; a few steps put you right in the middle of town. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast had everything needed. However, the price‑to‑value ratio for the room doesn’t suit me; the bathroom is very small with drilled holes in the wall panels, shower soap sits on the mixer, and the front door is covered in a plastic film, giving a cheap feel for the price.

The room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet leaned toward savory rather than sweet, but still offered a variety of options and generous portions. The location was ideal for exploring the island.
