A lovely tent experience for those without camping experience. The staff are not on site; you have to manage everything yourself, but there’s no major need for contact.

A very comfortable lodging; I stayed in a very cool, spacious tent surrounded by nature and incredible weather. The views from the top are amazing, and I recommend it for anyone who enjoys glamping in nature. They should have ramps to reach the glamping.

We stayed in a tent that felt cozy, even after two days of heavy rain. The price, however, felt steep compared to other places we stayed at the same time that were better maintained. The kitchen and dining area looked old, and the bathrooms were too few for four tents when fully booked. Some furniture was literally falling apart—door handles, the toilet flush button, and a lamp shade in our tent was split in half. We only had one towel per person for two days of showering, hand and face washing, which was really insufficient; more hooks or places to hang or set things in the tents would help. All of this made the cost feel really high even by Icelandic standards.

The staff were very helpful, and when the power went out, an electrician arrived within 30 minutes and fixed everything. It was also cool that we had access to a whirlpool and a sauna, and everything stayed clean.

Starting our trip this way was a blast—we had our own tent and had a lot of fun. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers, and we never had to wait. For the price, though, the place feels wildly overpriced; it was just a tent among a few trees off the main road with no on‑site staff for check‑in, so we had to call for help. Under $200 would be more reasonable for Iceland.
