“まあまあよかったです”

The food was tasty and the hot spring was good. However, the room smelled like urine as soon as I entered, and even after opening the window the odor persisted. I kept the window slightly open at night, knowing it would get cold. While sleeping, a buzzing sound from the electricity would come through the pillow when I turned my head, which was annoying. If that hadn’t happened, the food was delicious and the stay was peaceful.

The hotel sits a bit on a hill, and from the room you can see Asama Mountain and other scenery. It was a shame it rained this time.

I enjoyed the quiet comfort of the hotel and the pleasant moments at the little inn; the Japanese‑style ryokan offered warm service, lovely scenery, tasty meals and high‑quality hot springs, making it an unforgettable stay. The outdoor hot spring water was a little on the cool side.

“星が綺麗でした！”

The container‑style room let us keep our dog and it was spotless, with fresh water refilled in the fridge every day, which we really appreciated. Because there’s no bathroom nearby, even simple tasks like brushing teeth or washing hands required a walk, and some containers have toilets that are a fair distance away, so you’ll need to head over rather than wait; it was inconvenient, but everything else stayed clean.

The bath was excellent, especially the open-air one; the western-style room had a high ceiling, was spacious, and comfortable.
