Red Frog’s team is the best; they’re incredibly helpful and know the property inside out. Kenny guided us wherever we wanted to go and made our stay unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to returning!

The lodge sits right in the middle of the jungle and is super comfy with everything you need. The staff are friendly and the beach is great. No negatives.

Being surrounded by nature and spotting sloths and monkeys with ease was a highlight, and the staff who attended us were friendly. However, the property is huge and the distances are too long; we were advised against staying in the cabin we had booked because of the rain, and the apartment we ended up in felt out of place with the surroundings. If not for the views, it felt like a city condominium. The beach club is neglected, and the staff seem perpetually bored. The sun loungers are dirty and made of plastic. Food is expensive and not very varied. Beyond the main trail, the other paths are poorly maintained and dirty. The resort markets itself as a luxury resort but falls far short of that claim, making it very expensive and not recommended.
