Hotel Banana Boutique & Spa - 5th Av Playa del Carmen

The hotel's location on 5th Avenue was a major plus, but our stay was marred by several issues. The restaurant below our room closed at 12:30 am and opened at 7:00 am, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The rooms also lacked a comfortable chair, forcing us to sit on the bed, and the internet connection was poor, with the TV never picking up a signal. To make matters worse, the second-floor terrace was reserved for the restaurant below, which added to the noise and chaos.

“Excelente estancia”

The hotel's proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops was a major plus, but our stay was ruined by the constant noise from the singer at the restaurant below our room. The music was loud and intrusive, making it difficult for us to relax and enjoy our stay.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had some great qualities, such as its spotless facilities and lovely amenities. However, the hotel's proximity to a lively bar with live music was a major drawback, as the noise continued until 2:30 in the morning. I think it would be a nice touch if the hotel provided complimentary earplugs to help guests get a good night's sleep.
