You get exactly what you pay for at this place. If you’re after cheap and cheerful lodging in town centre with no extra frills or backpacking vibe, this is solid value for money. There’s almost nothing to complain about; it’s exactly as advertised and I had no false expectations.

Nothing positive to mention. The place was very dirty with a strong odor, and the pots and pans were filthy.

The guesthouse sits close to a pub and the city centre, and there’s parking outside, though spots are limited. The host was quick to respond to my questions. The self‑check‑in was confusing and required two different passwords, which made the process more complicated. The area around the property felt a bit rough, leaving us slightly uneasy.

Free WiFi was available. However, nail clippings from a previous guest were left behind, and I bought a mug because it was the only one in the kitchen. It took three tries to unlock the secure front door. The mattress was thin and the sheet was thin, the window frame was rotten, and the walls and doors were grubby.
