Excellent spot right in front of Hallgrímskirkja, with easy public transport and many places within walking distance; Bus Stop 8 was a short walk away, which was very handy since all our tours started there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. The downside is the lack of an elevator, making luggage a hassle, and the Wi‑Fi was unreliable during our stay.

The shower was the smallest I’ve ever seen; I had to tilt my head down to keep my hair from falling, as I couldn’t raise my arms. It was tiny.
