The lobby is nicely decorated and clean—a pleasant first impression. I had a restful, quiet stay midweek before heading to another destination. The room features a spacious, tidy coffee bar, fridge, and microwave on the counter that separates the desk, sofa, work area from the sleeping zone. The dining area was lovely and clean, offering decent breakfast options and all‑day coffee, tea, and water. I enjoyed a quiet swim and hot tub in the early evening. Albany’s historic downtown was charming, with interesting shops where we bought home décor and clothing, and we visited the historic carousel. The only design quibble I had was that the shaving and brushing sink was directly across from the foot of the king bed, so it was visible while the room partner was shaving or brushing teeth—just a minor observation that probably isn’t a concern for most. Overall, I’d definitely choose this hotel again.
