The location near the Huon River is fantastic, and the house has been nicely renovated with great facilities. The staff were lovely, the bar served fantastic food, and the parking right in front of the property was amazing. The dinner table was great, and a breakfast basket was delivered daily (pro-tip: bring your own eggs!). Check‑in and check‑out were flexible, communication was excellent, and the place works well for families or groups of friends – I’ll definitely return. The only minor issue was light leaking through the Venetian blinds in the master back bedroom, caused by a security light on the hill that flashed whenever heavy traffic passed at night; the owners promised to replace them ASAP, so it didn’t really affect the stay. All other bedrooms were fine.

Lovely building old charm. Big room comfortable bed and easy parking. Good price. Breakfast was a non event , no butter for toast etc

Rooms were nice enough, great views. Restaurant wasn't great. The lady working got distracted very easily twice and therefore forgot our drink order 3 times
