I’ve been visiting Koh Phangan for years, and Sea Garden Resort 2 in Srithanu feels like home every time I stay. The long infinity pool with the most stunning ocean view is a highlight—perfect for relaxing, swimming, and watching sunsets. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the staff are always incredibly kind and friendly. There’s a spacious lobby to sit in and a lovely air‑conditioned bistro where you can work comfortably; the food there is delicious, making it a great spot to spend a few hours with your laptop. The resort offers different room categories: the bungalows are beautiful with their own terraces, but I personally love booking one of the stylish rooms—they’re spacious, beautifully decorated, and large enough to have a yoga mat and a comfortable work setup. Housekeeping comes every second day with fresh towels and bed linen, and complimentary drinking water is provided daily. Another big plus is the large parking area for scooters, and the location is very easy to access—directly on the main road, no steep or wild hills to climb. Because I’ve stayed here so many times, it truly feels like my home away from home. I always book the same room and I’m sure I’ll keep coming back for many more years. Highly recommended from the heart. The only downside was that my room was quite near the street, but I knew that before and brought earplugs.

The view is the only thing to remember. The rooms were dirty, and the reception staff were unhelpful.

We didn’t like it; we booked a deluxe villa but got a cabin in the woods. The staff were really rude and tried to charge me a 500‑baht fine for having aloe on my towel—something I never saw before. I won’t return.

The location was great. First, I emailed them a week ahead to let them know we were three people instead of two, and they forced me to cancel the booking through Booking and rebook directly at a steep price of 43,000 baht instead of the original 15,000. Cleaning was every other day, but each time they “forgot” to clean and only arrived after three days; towels were unclean, basic toilets, and they couldn’t arrange a taxi to the beach. Wi‑Fi worked most of the time, and there was a sewage smell from the shower. The inflated price is not worth it at all. Very disappointing.
