The spot couldn't be better – right in the centre and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was tasty and the kitchen overall served great food. The rooms fit exactly what we needed, so we were happy.

The cottage itself is a real gem – a romantic First‑Republic style building with lovely surroundings and decent food. The chef was a bit erratic, cancelling dishes and forgetting basics like potatoes, but he always apologized and even sent over tasty cakes. The rooms are simply furnished and we ran short on basic toiletries – no soap in the dispenser and only a tiny tube of shampoo per person.

The on‑site restaurant was decent and the English‑speaking staff were really helpful. Unfortunately the bedroom curtains were torn and let in all the light, so navigating the dark country road at night was a hassle.

The meals were fantastic and the staff, especially the chef, made the place feel homely; the cottage’s surroundings are also very pleasant. In room 3 the bathroom door is a struggle to shut and opening the window forces you to climb over the bed, and the bedside lamps are finicky – one won’t turn on and the other just flickers. A different wardrobe layout might have helped, but overall the vibe was good.

The setting feels like a cozy mountain cabin and the staff are genuinely friendly. The only real drawback was a grimy shower stall – the place could benefit from a deeper clean overall.
