The place isn’t luxurious, but it was clean and the staff were great, very helpful and kind.

The guesthouse sits close to the station and the centre, and I stayed in an annex room that opens directly onto the outside, giving it a cottage‑like feel. The room was simple yet tidy, and I could store my bike safely. The receptionist who checked me in spoke only Slovak, which probably explains why she said very little. The chat support was also Slovak‑only, and I never received a reply to my question about arriving around 7 PM, which turned out to be fine but I only found out when I got there just before seven. A bridge is under construction over the railway, so getting to the guesthouse from the station or centre is a bit inconvenient.
