“Overall great stay”

The rooms are very spacious for a good price and the staff were extremely kind. We used the A/C all day, which was necessary for us. The finishes feel a little outdated and have definitely worn down over the years, needing a remodel, but nothing too serious. We weren’t big fans of the breakfast and ended up eating very little of it. We didn’t realize it was a sex hotel, so we were surprised to find some of the extra “amenities” in our room, which turned into a funny story and didn’t bother us.

We were really impressed by the size of the room and bathroom, there was plenty of space. The location is perfect because the hotel is super central and everything is quickly reachable. A nice detail is the water dispenser in the lobby, available anytime. Although smoking is allowed in the room, we didn’t notice any smoke smell from previous guests. Unfortunately, the whole hotel feels very outdated, both in technology and overall appearance. Cleanliness had issues, with dust found in various corners. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Overall, the house had a particular atmosphere, especially the sex‑toy vending machine in the room, which made us feel more like we’d landed in a sex hotel, reducing the comfort factor.

The staff and the size of the room and bathtub were good. The comfort of the bedding was lacking.

The staff was very helpful with anything I needed and the location is great for Kiyomizudera and Gion. The room was quite big and had everything I needed.

“オススメできない”

Convenient if you’re near Gion and want to tour. The room’s equipment is too plain, no special feel; the CS connection didn’t work and only terrestrial channels were available, which is not good.
