The setting was beautiful and the spa facilities were excellent. Breakfast fell short of the high reviews, and house flies in the dining area were annoying. The long approach road had many potholes, and my car got grounded on the steep slope from the guest car park when I left. The receptionist at check‑out seemed unhappy and a bit surly, but overall the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful.
