The hotel was close to the beach, but the old room needed renovation, the small room and tiny bathroom were inadequate for a four‑star hotel, the sofas at the entrance were worn, the air‑conditioner unit on the terrace blew constantly at the feet, the unit was old and worn, rusted bathroom fixtures, brochures in the room were printed on a printer and stuck with a tape, furniture was unclean, the safe required a key—raising questions about why that safe was used, the glass at the bathroom entrance was not sealed so moisture and smells entered the room, the shower in the bathroom was not connected to the water supply—an outright fraud, a rude receptionist tried to rush us by telling us what to film on our phone to avoid questions, the hotel was frequently used by bus tour groups staying one night, early morning luggage handling and corridor noise were annoying, the food was mediocre, the restaurant staff were annoying and crowded, a small supermarket with noisy air‑conditioners outside the hotel caused unpleasant nighttime noise, a broken remote for the air‑conditioner, kitchen odors spread through the corridors, the terrace was nice but the service and price did not justify it, and the hotel did not provide beach loungers or umbrellas.
