“acceptable”
The location is close to where my sister lives, but the cardboard breakfast had too much sugar, which is common for motels at this price point; the breakfast was also lacking in air conditioning.

The breakfast staff were fantastic—they truly embodied hospitality. Nothing else was lacking; the entire experience was wonderful.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean, though the ground floor had a slightly odd odor—perhaps from strong cleaning chemicals. I noticed the scent on all three days I stayed.

Everything was great, but the location was inconvenient from my wedding venue.

It’s hard to believe this is a Hampton Inn; the building is fine but the service is not. When I asked for a receipt, they said they don’t provide it for third‑party reservations (Booking). This was the first time this has happened. We’ll stay in McAlester next time.
