location only,. It was a hovel. We were short a sheet on the bed. No wifi. No t.v. 1 run down chair. 1 rickety table. Will never come to that place again and will tell anyone who asks that it was a bad experience

The room had a fridge and microwave, though they were hard to use; it was close to restaurants and sights, but the room was dirty—tables and floors, and our feet got dirty after showers. The internet was down and no staff was available to fix it; I reported the issues to the office and was told the manager would address them when she arrived at 3 pm, but I don’t know if that happened.

We keep coming back because the old‑school roadside inn vibe in the woods is unbeatable. It’s simple, not fancy, and the rates match what you get. Coffee is available in the office after 8 a.m., and each room has a drip machine. The only downside was that the top sheet was on top of the blanket with no extra sheet underneath, so we had to flip the bedding and slide between the sheets, and the room could have been a touch cleaner.
