Nice location and a friendly guy who accepted my payment, but the toilet paper dispenser never emptied during my seven‑night stay, and a cockroach‑poison wrapper on the fridge made me hesitate to sleep that first night; the bathroom feels worn, the host was helpful via WhatsApp when I arrived but later asked for help getting a taxi without an app and no one on site, and there was no apology for the lack of assistance.

Breakfast was served in the shared kitchen, which was fine as long as it wasn’t too crowded. There was no welcome greeting.

The host’s blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism tell you all you need to know; he still focuses on the fact that we left, instead of addressing the state of the room. I joined her for the first two nights while she recovered from surgery; the host knew this, charged an additional amount for me and accepted it. The room had dirty, stained bedding, a poorly cleaned bathroom, green deposits in the shower, visibly dirty floors, dust and accumulated dirt. We found cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom, and the A/C started pouring water down the wall near electrical fittings. I have photographs and videos of all of this! Because my mother was recovering from surgery, I did not allow her to use the shower in those conditions. Clean bedding, a hygienic bathroom, no cockroaches and safe equipment are not luxury; they are the bare minimum. We asked for an immediate solution, but none was provided that night. We left the next morning and had to urgently book alternative accommodation at additional cost. Instead of addressing the documented hygiene and safety issues, the host focused on cancellation penalties and the fact that we left. He was rude and dismissive and said that if we wanted basic cleanliness, we should have booked a 5-star hotel. After we left, the host cancelled the Booking reservation and I was notified that we had been reported as no‑shows, which is false: we arrived, stayed one night and left because of these conditions. He also claimed we left the room untidy; I have photographs taken when we left showing otherwise.
