The farm was stunning, offering unreal views, and the lodgings were impeccably maintained with a large lounge, a fantastic bathroom, and a spacious kitchen—plus the bonus of being able to watch the animals from the window. The only gripe was that the pillows felt a bit hard, but I know I should have brought my own since I’m a bit particular about comfort.

The scenery was beautiful. The bathroom and toilet were shared.

The place had a funky, cool vibe, was super quiet, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was, however, far from Aoraki, which was misleading when the listing said only 9 km away. The owner was very nice and helpful during our stay.
