The Berghotel TheLounge is situated in Berwang's centre, within the Zugspitz Arena Ski Area, directly opposite ski slopes and 100 metres from a ski lift. The hotel offers free WiFi, heated terrace with a bar, cozy lounge with fireplace, and ski storage. Modern rooms feature a TV, bathroom with hairdryer, and some have a balcony overlooking the slopes.

The location is great, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is tasty and the room is good. The price is fair. They advertised parking, but I couldn’t find it. We ended up parking a few hundred metres away on a large public lot, which was fine.

From the start we felt very comfortable here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, so we felt welcomed right away. Our room was small but cozy and more than enough for our stay. We also liked the breakfast – there was something for everyone – and the coffee was really great. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would come back anytime.

The hotel’s location is good, so you can start various activities right away, but it sits in the corner of two streets, and with the windows open it can be a bit noisy. The breakfast could have been more varied. There was always the same ham, salami and cheese. The rolls seemed to be running out. A fresh fruit salad was also missing for me.
