Found a special spot in Algodoal, right on the beach. The room was simple but cozy, perfect for unwinding and meditating. Good place to just relax.

Host JAREDE is top‑notch—musician, humanist, and super welcoming. The lodge sits right by the sea, with a wide balcony where you can watch the tide hit the porch threshold. Unforgettable experience, hands down.

The hostel is next to the marina, so even with a ton of luggage it’s a breeze to get in. Common areas stay clean and tidy, the place is right on the beach so you can catch gorgeous sunsets every day. Even when it rains it’s comfy, kitchen stocked, Wi‑Fi solid, and Jarede is always around to make the vibe warm.

Rustic, cozy vibe—Jared greets guests with a smile and gives great tips. I even got to watch his reggae band rehearse, which was a real treat. Worth staying and highly recommend.
