It was a lovely apartment, excellent location and super quiet. It would have been nice if there had been bedside lamps.

The place sits in a truly great spot, letting us reach all our points of interest easily. I ran into a problem during my stay; I called the number of the person I had spoken to for all the details and never got a response.

The main attraction of the property is its location, just a 5‑minute walk from Genova Principe Railway Station and under 10 minutes on foot to the old town and Porto Antico. Security felt high because there were two entrance doors and two interior doors, each with its own key and code. The host was friendly and gave us useful information when we arrived. On the downside, there was no TV, even though that’s normally expected in a three‑star place. Space for clothes was very limited, the room was humid, and it wasn’t cleaned at all during our 7‑night stay, which is unhygienic. Cleaning didn’t even mean changing the linen; it only involved swapping towels and emptying the single bathroom bin, which I considered normal, especially since we paid a 25€ “spese di pulizia” tax.

Access was easy, the location was good, and the accommodation was clean. The room was small for two people, more suitable for one.

Nothing good. The accommodation was inaccessible – a very alarming situation. I arrived at the property on 13 August 2026 with my child, as per my booking, but never managed to get into the reserved room. The elevator did not match the photos in the listing and its operation mechanism was severely damaged. The place was poorly maintained, with a strong urine smell in the elevator shaft and dripping water noises behind it. The person I had spoken to before my arrival, who knew our late check‑in time, became unreachable despite my calls. I was also told a garage could be used, only to be told later that there wasn’t one. We were left without access to the paid accommodation and without parking, had to leave by taxi, and ended up sleeping in our car. The experience was extremely stressful and especially concerning from a safety perspective.
