“Excelente”
The hotel staff are very friendly, the hotel itself feels very welcoming, the pool is excellent for cooling off before or after jungle tours, and the breakfast is delicious!

The location is good, the pool is just two metres from the room, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were helpful. However, there was no hot water or hair shampoo, and there were a lot of mosquitoes.

The pool is awesome, the staff are super attentive, and the hostel’s location is great. 1000% recommendable. It’s not my first time in Puerto Maldonado and I always stay at Fauna! Cecilia and her team are a godsend. I liked everything!

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in; the staff are friendly and nice, and there’s a cat and a dog for a cuddle or a dopamine boost. The rooms are clean, the showers work, water is always available, and they offer tea, coffee, juice, and bananas from the tree. When it gets hot, you can just jump into the pool. The only thing beyond the hostel’s control is the cockerel from next door who can’t tell time and starts squawking early in the morning.
