The room was great but small for us, which was expected. We were a family of four and it felt cramped. We had a club‑level room, and the breakfast offered in the club lounge was great. The location is good because it’s close to many nice neighborhoods and has access to most train lines going up and down town, but Canal Street itself feels dirty and dodgy, especially at night. It was fine for us but good to know.

The location is perfect, practically in Soho for walking to eat and stroll. It’s not a dangerous street as some other comments claim. The hotel is remodeled and everything is very good, except the staff who don’t seem eager to help. Everything else is okay; our room was huge for what it is in NYC. The reception staff were not helpful.

The rooms were large and clean, and the location was close to everything. Unfortunately the street isn’t great, but just crossing the street changes the whole scene.
