“Very nice place and even nicer people”
The host is lovely and you meet a lot of nice people there. They arrange the tour to Tumpak Sewu without problems and because it starts at 5.30 you get there earlier than most other visitors. It’s very uncomplicated. Also there’s a place for earrings nearby if you walk a little so food is no problem (if you have the stomach for it :D). You get a very lovely stay for a very cheap price. This is just for awareness: It is very in nature so you will meet some little insect guests and mosquitoes. If you’re bothered by that bring a net. There are chickens, dogs, a mosque and a street nearby as well as people leaving at ungodly hours for Bromo or Sewu so if you wake easily bring some noise canceling. This is the peak backpacker experience for people looking for a hotel with pool go somewhere else!
