The breakfast was good, and the rooms and hotel design were nice. The pool wasn’t heated, so it was unusable, and getting a taxi was a real hassle.

“Hidden fees and charges and nasty sheets.”

The decor was unique, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. However, there were serious problems: the sheets were stained and nasty—see the photos. We paid in advance for two days because of the jacuzzi and pool, and we had booked the jacuzzi. It was barely warm, with cold water at the bottom, and the pool was also cold. There was no mention of a $20 per person charge ($40 U.S.) for a 20‑minute barely warm tub, so we wouldn’t have used the spa if we’d known. Dinner service was poor; it took an hour and a half to receive food that had no flavor and made me ill. We stayed in a second‑floor room and an employee was caught looking through the window while my wife was showering. We wanted to cancel our second day, but they wouldn’t refund us. The location is very bad, up a narrow bumpy dirt road. I must clarify: the employee was seen looking into the room window, not the bathroom window. If my wife had left, she would have been seen. The employee was on a second‑floor ledge fixing a low‑hanging wire. I waved at him. Your response to my review is not truthful. I am not lying. The photos of the nasty sheets were not posted!

“Très confortable et reposant mais isolation lumière/chauffage à revoir”

The hotel’s design was very original and the massage and dining options, especially the hearty breakfast, were great. In the morning the room flooded with light because there was no way to block the skylight windows, and it was extremely cold. The cleanliness also needed improvement.

Everything was perfect, just like the pictures, and they provide a ride to the plaza in Urabamba for 20 soles.
