“Wonderful stay”

I had an amazing time staying at this guesthouse. The owner’s hospitality was top notch, and he personally dropped me off near the temple gate at 3am. The room was smaller than expected.

“Great on a budget, though cleanliness is an issue”

The host was great and the spot is super convenient to the temple, but the metal staircase is too tight for big suitcases. Still, it’s a solid pick for budget‑savvy singles or small families, just remember there’s no private parking—street parking only. I booked for four, yet the sheets and pillowcases were dirty when I arrived; housekeeping should swap them out right away.

I appreciate the access to Padmanabha Swamy temple and the nearby luxurious hotels like Annapurna, Udupi, and Suda Suda Idli, especially for AP and TN tourists – it’s just 500 m to the west side of the temple. The rooms are clean and the toilets are well maintained. It’s located in a peaceful area, Swathi Nagar, on the west side of the temple. Manager Suresh garu is friendly and helps tourists arrange local sightseeing transport at reasonable prices, provides information about darshan timings, and anything else we need. Though the property looks old, the management has done their best to provide facilities for tourists. Once again, I’m very thankful for the opportunity to stay with my family at a reasonable price for one day. The only thing I think the property could do is repaint it.

The place is in a prime spot, just a short walk from the temple, and the owner gives useful tips on temple hours and nearby eateries. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay.

The location is great and the staff, including the owner, are very helpful. Having an electric kettle and tea or coffee powder with sugar would have made the early mornings perfect.
