The house felt very welcoming, and the lady who greeted me was friendly and smiled while helping. The pool was hard to access because it had stairs, making it difficult for an adult to get in and out. There was no braai area, and the only toilets were upstairs, so having to climb stairs while dining was inconvenient.

The house is beautiful and clean, but we had to keep our voices low and whisper because the owner mixes leisure and business guests.

The place itself is pretty good, but the overall experience was terrible; you never know if you’re allowed to use the pots. The cleaning lady even asked if we were told to use the pots, which confused me because this is a self‑catering accommodation. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. First, we thought we’d have the whole apartment to ourselves, only to discover that other people live there. Cameras are inside the house, and the worst part is that they face the bathrooms and bedrooms, so there’s no privacy at all. On top of that, the resident is filthy—he even put nappies in the kitchen bin while guests were using the kitchen. I highly recommend against staying here. Those were the worst five days of my trip.

The location was great and close to amenities, but the beds were not very comfortable and the bedding quality could be improved. The towels also needed changing on the second day. The garage was manual, which made it hard to come in and out of the property because it required lifting, so it wasn’t the easiest.
